ADDITIONAL SETUP:
- 1. Add all Trap Class Chaos Cards to the Deck before initial Shuffling and Dealing [01.104].
- 2. Shuffle the Cataclysm Side Deck and Deal all 6 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards, one at a time, Face-Up in front of all Players [01.104].
NOTE: Ignore if some miss out or if some have more than one [everyone should have a chance over the game] [01.104].
2 PLAYER GAME NOTE: Remove the Unrestriction Stone and Deal 2 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards to both Players [01.104].
FUNCTIONS OF THE CATACLYSM EXPANSION CHAOS CARDS:
- • THE EFFECTS OF THE ANCIENT STONE CLASS CHAOS CARDS CAN BE RE-USED ON EACH SUBSEQUENT TURN WHILE THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET [01.104]:
- USE:
- • To use an Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card, Turn it Sideways [01.104].
- • Each Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card’s Effect CAN only be used Once Each Turn; however, You CAN use it on additional Turns afterwards [01.104].
- • Use of Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card Effects do NOT count towards Your one Chaos Card per Turn Restriction [01.104].
- RESTRICTIONS:
- • Only 1 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card CAN be used each Turn [compare BULK POSSESSION NOTES] [01.104].
- • All Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card Effects CANNOT affect the same Players two Activations in a row, regardless of who is the User and who is the Target [01.104].
EXAMPLE: If someone uses the Teleportation Stone to take control of Your seat and Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards, the Teleportation Stone CANNOT reclaim them. You MUST use the Teleportation Stone to Target another Player [01.104].
2 PLAYER GAME NOTE: Individual Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards CAN only Target the other Player every second Turn [01.104].
COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
- a. Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards may NOT count towards Your Hand’s Card count [so You CAN still win with no Cards even if You possess one], but they CAN still be stolen via card Swapping means; however, if doing this, You CAN only Swap Hand Cards or Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards [01.105].
EXAMPLE: If chosen, Paradigm Shift’s Group Targeting Swap Effect CAN target all Player’s Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards instead of Their Hand Cards [the Swap includes All Players Except Previous Unrestriction Stone Users, regardless of whether they currently own an Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card or not] [01.105].
- b. Furthermore, Hand Discarding Effects affect both Hand and Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards. However, Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards are collected, Shuffled and Re-Dealt according to Their Setup Rules [01.105].
EXAMPLE: Card Effects like Black Hole [01.105].
• BULK POSSESSION NOTES:
- 2 ANCIENT STONE CLASS CHAOS CARDS: You CAN choose to have a second Turn every Turn You possess a total of 3 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards. This Turn DOES NOT include the ability to play Another Chaos Card or Ancient Stone [01.105].
- 3 ANCIENT STONE CLASS CHAOS CARDS: You CAN choose to have a second Turn every Turn You possess a total of 4 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards. This Turn DOES include the ability to play another Chaos Card but DOES NOT include the ability to play another Ancient Stone [01.105].
- 4 ANCIENT STONE CLASS CHAOS CARDS: You CAN choose to have a second Turn every Turn You possess a total of 5 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards. This Turn DOES include the ability to play another Chaos Card AND another Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card [01.105].
- 5 ANCIENT STONE CLASS CHAOS CARDS:
- • User:
- a. At any point during another Player’s Turn, Attempt to take possession of the last Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card. This MUST be Attempted Once, and only Once, between Your Playable Turns [01.105].
- b. Failure to Attempt to do so or being prevented from doing so will result in all Your Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards being Collected and Re-Dealt according to Their Setup Rules [01.105].
- • The Last Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card Holder:
- a. IF the User attempts to take possession of Your Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card, Slap the Table to Defend Yourself [01.105].
- b. IF You Slap the Table and the User did NOT attempt to take possession of Your Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card, You Forfeit it to them [01.105].
• SPECIAL VICTORY CONDITION NOTE:
6 ANCIENT STONE CLASS CHAOS CARDS: Possessing All 6 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards at once instantly Wins You the game [regardless of the number of Cards You possess; or whose Turn it actually is] [01.106].
NOTE: Any time a Player is Removed from or Restored to the Game by any means, Collect all Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards, Shuffle and Re-Deal them to all Players still currently In the Game. But You MUST maintain Play Order [as in the Player that caused this Removal/Restoration Effect (either directly or indirectly) MUST perform the above Shuffle & Re-Deal of the Ancient Stones; and as the Dealer, they are last to receive one] [01.106].
2 PLAYER GAME NOTE: This Special Victory Condition now Activates with by possessing all 4 Ancient Stone Class Chaos Cards in Play [01.106].
All Ancient Stone Class Chaos Card Effects CANNOT be Countered, Including Their Special Victory Condition [01.106].
